Spring
has arrived early this year, in the great
northwoods.
Our
new office building in Woodruff is complete and
opened on schedule in June of 2009, (see the video
of current pictures). New patients are welcome!
Both
Drs. Liesen and Pinzl attended the Chicago Dental
Convention in February. There is
lots of information to share with
everyone! Dr. Pinzl went to Michigan to
attend a seminar about Mini Dental Implants (MDI).
- Mini
Implants can be placed in less than two hours
- Laugh,
talk, eat comfortably and speak easily and
with confidence
- Your
dentures are firmly in place and feel secure
- An
affordable price is available for all of this
The
MDI System consists of a miniature titanium alloy
implant that acts like the root of your tooth and
a retaining fixture that is incorporated into the
base of your denture. The head of the
implant is shaped like a ball, and the retaining
fixture acts like a socket with a rubber
O-ring. The O-ring snaps over the ball when
the denture is seated and holds the denture firmly
in place. When treated, the denture gently
rests on the gum tissue. The implant
fixtures allow for micromobility while
withstanding natural lifting. Call us for
more information.
Dr.
Liesen, Teri and Kathie, along with Price County
Health Department, volunteered at Price County
Schools placing dental sealants and fluoride
varnish on 2nd, 3rd, 6th
and 7th graders at no charge or a
minimal cost to their families. If you have
any questions, you can contact the Price County
Health Department at 715-339-3054. |
